Lana Blades lives in the Glendale area not far from the Los Angeles art scene she creates daily in her studio. Lana's love of painting can be seen in her watercolors.

"From an early age I wanted to be an artist. In high school I majored in Art. I've taken art class lessons from many Southern California artists. I belong to the Silver Lake Art Association, Mid Valley Art Association, and Verdugo Hills Art Association."

Lana has done one woman art shows at various galleries. She also did a series of paintings of the children and their mothers of the Katrina hurricane, along with other paintings that reflect her interest. Lana works mostly in watercolor. Her paintings are in exhibits in Southern California and hang in many private homes and offices. Lana's paintings can be seen in galleries in Pasadena, California. She have won may ribbons for her work.
